So it really feels like its not an option anymore to sleep past 6:30. Once my alarm goes off – I really can’t go back to sleep, I just lie there until I get up. I think its mostly guilt if I don’t get up because so many people will know with my diligent updates to Facebook and this blog. So even if its guilt getting me up, I’m still getting up!
Last night I did a Rotary Presentation at the Dunbar Club, which is about a 20 min train ride SE of Edinburgh. The town is right on the coast, but I didn’t get to see the water really because it was so dark outside. But it seemed really lovely and there were lots of stars out, which I mostly don’t look at since I’ve lived in cities the past 5 years. The dinner was a lot of fun and my presentation went well. I had a few nice folks come up to me afterward offering up their grandson’s screenplay and informing me that they had been to Big Springs, TX! The world keeps getting smaller…
I took some pictures of my lovely audience and me presenting the good ‘ol Levelland Banner to the club’s President: Tom Badger.
Enjoy the pictures! (There’s only 3)
